When I took my dead computer into the shop it was embarrassing when he opened it up and started using the pressure air. The tech guy did tell me you shouldn't use a vacuum to clean your computer but I forget why.

Oooo, well I did vacuum it, there's no way that blowing air would have clean THAT thing! I also used a little brush gently on the fans and hidden areas...I should take an "after" pic!

Vacuums suck up things and the suction could loosen connections. What I have done during the winter it to use a vac on near me when I blow mine out. It will pull the dist in but not be close enough to make a mess.

Gary actually more often than not the side of my computer is off - It got really dirty, I had problems getting the side back on correctly and I have a cd port on the mother board that is bad. I tend to keep the computer cleaner that way. This is not organised - it is LAZY.

Wow, I'm freaking out at how quiet my computer is! All this time I thought it was supposed to sound like a jet engine! LOL! I bet this thing was just about to blow, trying to keep itself cool with SOOO much dust in there! You know it's true, Alan IS good for something! (heeheee, love you Alan!)
