everyone read how last week was so crappy for me & then ended on a happy note with Sammie & all her awards

Well here @ work we have what they call the "team member of the month" You have to be nominated for going above & beyond the call of duty. Well for the month of February, i am the "team member of the month" It was announced this morning. My supervisor nominated me & i won. I was totally shocked & it definately has made my day

I get a preferred parking spot for a month, & a $50 visa gift card that i will spend on something for me for once!

I dont get recognized for half the stuff i do, but seems like someone is noticing-i get my raise today as well, so maybe more good new there? I am more thankful i still have a job in this economy

Congratulations, Rhonda. If you do your job with the intnsity that you love your birds, I would say you are very deserving of this award. Funny about the parking spot. I would have loved one of those prime spots when I worked. But I had to park with the other peons out back and walk. What a great idea for a prize.

thanks-the parking spot is nice, but i get here @ 6am so i get pretty much a prime spot anyway

the work i do is not fun most days as i work with people in foreclosure & bankruptcy on their mortgages-been on overtime (mandatory) since May of 2009.

it was nice to be recognized though for all the extra work i have been putting in while others were out on vacation for 2 full weeks-now i need one!
