This is very similar to the what happened to Pecker. Sudden massive weight loss. They found a tumor during the necropsy. I wouldn't be surprised to have similar findings here...

It's hard. And I haven't gotten over the loss of mine yet either. There are times when I lose it too. I don't care what anyone thinks! The same people who don't understand why I would cry over a bird, would never understand why I had one to begin with, or the joy he or she brought to my life.

Grieving is a process. It hurts for awhile.

no one in their right mind is gonna think anything less of anyone male or female for grieving over a pet-they are part of your life just like any person is

i cried over your CJ's loss & birdman's as well-it is just a heartbreaker & i am sure it would be worse had i actually met & loved these birds like you guys loved your lost loved ones

Oh CJ, i am so very very sorry for the loss of Joshua. I know what he meant to you and crying is ok, more than ok. Know that as you said is fully feathered, has sight and can see you now. He is flying free. You gave him a great home to call his own and so much love he would never have imagined. Thank you for that.
